On occasion a student will join the school part way through the year and will not have their user account account created as part of a new year's intake.

The Add User Wizard is designed to simplify the process of adding individual students without the need of the import file used by the User Import Wizard when bulk creating new user accounts.

To create a new user simply select the appropriate user template and enter the user's first and second name. The users login name will be calculated according to the condition set out in the user template and checked.

As long as the suggested login name is unique, you can click the Create button at which point the user account will be created and added to the appropriate user groups, as well as their home folder being created and shared with the preset security permissions and disk quota settings.
