Print Manager Plus 2008 Standard Academic Edition is a software only print management product. It is licensed per a single print server running Windows Server or Workstation NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008. The product install changes nothing in the Windows infrastructure and relies only upon the standard Windows print subsystem.

All tracking information is stored in an open database, which can be queried and reported on from any standard ODBC reporting package such as Crystal Reports and Microsoft Access.
SchoolSuite has been enhanced to take advantage of the open design of Print Manager Plus.
The SchoolSuite Server Messaging Service is designed to process remote print query and update requests from SchoolSuite clients, when it detects Print Manager Plus has been installed.
SchoolSuite's integration with Print Manager Plus enables additional, print quota based management options in the Management Console. It also allows the disk quota status tool to report the user's print quota status.
